Any artist would love the opportunity to sign to a major record label. But rarely do you see an artist being courted by 3 major record labels all at once. Somehow, independent recording artist Ronnie Dozier has done just that. The singer-songwriter is coming off the successful release of his album “Late Night Vibez” which debuted at number 172 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart, becoming one of the highest charting albums of any independent artist in 2020. The album featured the hit single “Too Many Nights” which has garnered over 300,000 streams since it’s release in November 2020.

The successful release of his past few projects has started to gain the attention of the major labels. Universal Music Group and Empire are a few of the most notable names listed among offers on the table. Multiple sources state that there are 3 major record labels looking to secure a deal with the Jacksonville, Fl recording artist really soon.

“Ronnie is looking for a partnership. A company that will help him to reach a more global audience. He’s really not so much focused on the money as he is focused on the relationship with any label he may sign with“, a representative from Foreign Alumni Music Group stated. Multiple A&Rs have publicly expressed interest in signing and doing business with Ronnie Dozier. “The kid can write hits”, Bob Morelli from The Orchard stated. “When you match that with his amazing live performance, he is undoubtedly a star. It’s mind blowing to me that he hasn’t already signed a major label deal.”

His untitled upcoming album is set to be one of the most anticipated releases of the year. The album, which is slated to be released in December of 2021, is said may have a later release date if there is a deal made by the end of the year. Ronnie has not made any public comments on whether he will or will not sign a major label deal. In the past, he has expressed “being an independent artist gives you the freedom to express yourself freely without restraints”.

Ronnie Dozier accomplished a lot in 2021 but without sold out show dates and a growing fan base, there’s no doubt he will be in everyone’s playlist in the near future. His album ‘Late Night Vibez’ is available on all streaming platforms.
