Hi Kyler! So wonderful to sit down and chat with you! Tell us a little about yourself? How long have you been singing and songwriting?
I started singing and songwriting in august of 2020 and just fell in love with the process at my first studio session. After that, I knew I had to continue on that path.
We loved your song “Us Again”. Tell us about that!
“Us Again” was the song recorded in my first studio session and the reason I wanted to become a recording artist. I was working with Mackenzie Sol and Ray Goren and we were just brainstorming while Ray played the guitar and we came up with the storyline and I just LOVED it. This single experience changed the trajectory of my life.
We heard you have a few upcoming releasing! Any notable collaborations with your music that you’re about to release?
I have so many fun things coming up and I’m so excited for my upcoming releases. The first thing you can look for is my song “Dreamhouse” being released September 10th. It has the cutest music video and I can’t wait for everyone to watch. As of right now I haven’t collaborated with anyone else but I hope to in the future!
What do you hope to accomplish in the next 5 years?
In the next 5 years, I hope to have written, recorded and released many more songs. I hope that other people enjoy my music and relate to it as much as I do. I would love to be performing in concert at known venues and/or festivals. Im excited about the possibilities of collaborating with some of my favorite artists to make amazing music.
Do you have any other skills or hobbies besides singing?
I love dancing. Dance has been my focus for most of my life until I decided to pursue singing. I was a competitive dancer for 3 years but I started dance when I was 2 and still take classes now.
I’m currently spending most of my time writing new music. I’m learning guitar and keyboard which really helps me with my songwriting.
I love that I can include writing, playing, dancing and singing to entertain.
Other hobbies I enjoy are watersports including boating, jet skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, waterskiing and wakesurfing.
